Brainwave Frequencies
Acrylic on canvas, 16×20
Frequencies of brain activity translated into scale, colour, and rythem. The organic structure reflects the fluidity of thought, referencing how biological processes connects brain activity to the body.

Diaspora
Acrylic on canvas, 15×30
The Mother and child motif draws on Christian iconography from my maternal side, while the surrounding carpet pattern reflects Middle Eastern aesthetics from my Afghan heritage on my paternal side, shaped by my upbringing between church and mosque. Cold, dark forms interrupt these images, symbolizing an identity formed through a fragmented cultural narrative.

Dylan 64′
Charcoal on paper, 8.5×11
This piece captures an early moment in Dylan’s career, when public recognition and private identity were still in tension, reflecting a figure shaped by time, attention, and observation. By removing excess context, the drawing exists between record and interpretation, exploring how much of an image belongs to history and how much is shaped by the act of looking.
